PureRide by PureGym

Overview

PureGym, who are the UK’s largest gym operator, approached me to create designs for their new business venture, PureRide (a premium indoor spinning/cycling experience).

The task was to translate simple wireframes into polished, visually engaging UI designs that aligned with the PureRide brand identity previously developed by an agency in tandem with their studio aesthetics.

Process

The process involved producing high-fidelity mockups, UI components and icon set to share with the team before taking feedback and refining the designs.

To ensure brand consistency, I used the brand guide created by the agency, ensuring that my designs integrated seamlessly with the existing studio visuals and brand feel.

After a second iteration, all stakeholders were happy and the design files, assets and notes were handed off to the developers with whom I liaised with during the build process.

Impact

The final designs delivered a sleek, modern interface that embodied the energy and dynamism of the PureRide experience. The custom icon set provided a recognisable visual language allowing users to top up credit and book classes on the go with minimal fuss.

With close attention to detail whilst adhering to brand guidelines, I was able to create designs that not only looked visually compelling but also enhanced the overall user experience.
